Evaluation and Assessment

Serving as a resource organisation for conducting evalautions and impact assessments

Shashwat serves as a resource organisation for conducting baseline surveys and impact assessments for its own programmes as well as those of partner organisations, particularly in the areas of education, health and livelihood. Baseline surveys enable Shashwat to understand the existing conditions, needs and challenges of communities before any intervention begins. This ensures that programmes are designed to be context-specific and aligned with genuine community priorities.

Impact assessments are carried out periodically to measure how initiatives are shaping people’s lives. Whether it is improving access to health services, strengthening agricultural practices or enhancing livelihood opportunities, these assessments offer clear evidence of progress and identify areas needing further attention. Through this rigorous and reflective approach, Shashwat promotes accountability, transparency and continuous improvement across all its development efforts.
